Cojo, the self proclaimed "Art Juggernaut," is back in the freelance commercial art world with a bullet and currently accepting proposals for Ad Illustration Projects.
Cojo gained notoriety in the pages of THE SOURCE magazine back in the late 90's solidifying a style that the hip-hop world (now pop culture world) would come to know as one of the signature styles of the generation. His industry fame catapulted over the following years and he has since done work for such clients as Maxim Magazine, Rolling Stone, Vibe, Nike, Nickelodeon, Mtv, Parcel, ZIMA, and FUBU.
He took a little time off this past year from the American Market focusing on his European work. He also broke from his former Manager (Respect Management) to once again manage himself. He's ready to get back to doing big commercial projects in America once again in addition to getting back into the American Magazines. Advertising is just the next logical step.
Having Cojo's artwork representing a product in a full out Ad Campaign is smart money. Being a free agent freelancer once again, Cojo would like to delve a little deeper into the AD Game by taking on a few Campaigns as well as his normal Editorial, Fashion, and Fine Art workload.
Cojo's style is hugely popular with the 12-34 year-old White and Urban Male Demographics. If you have a Campaign that targets this market, Cojo's cutting edge style is key.
Last year British Maxim needed to step their Magazine-up to compete with the already established and dominant Lad Mags of the UK. Instead of commissioning local talent they opted to reach across the ocean to New York to bring in the heavy hitting American Muscle of the Art Juggernaut.
Much like he did with British Maxim, Cojo seems more than ready to "kick ass" for your Campaign.
