NEW YEARS DAY 1-1-04

Well, holy crap, it's that time again! 2004 has arrived,(although I've already been writing 2004 on my checks for months) and "Baby New Year" returned with the vengeance of a toddler who's first teeth all broke gum line simultaneously.
He crashed haplessly through clubs, houseparties, and the streets swinging a little bottle of Moet whoopass like a rattle- to the bubblegum beat of an over-addictive OutKast song,

10...9...8...

unintentionally cracking skulls in his wake.

7...6...5...

he beat the shit out of us and crawled away leaving us for dead on dance floors world wide,

4....3...

while blissed-out drunk chicks shook their money makers "like a Polaroid picture" dripping booze-sweat off their glistening torsos,

2...1....

Drenching our poor pathetic, and completely looped out carcasses.

"Hurraahhey Yah....Heya Yahhh"

Making us promise to ourselves that "We will never drink like that again!"

Only to break that promise a few days later when a friend stops by with a case of beer and an invitation to watch the rosebowl on their 48" plasma.

A lot has happened over the past few weeks, and over the last weeks of 2003. I've been really busy with overseas work (which for this time of year is bizarre-- having any work this time of year is bizarre). Doing projects for Maxim Germany, and Maxim UK (this is my third commission for them), as well as three new projects for Maxim USA-I'm becoming an international phenomena. Got a new one in the new issue of VIBE, Maxim, Maxim UK, as well as the next issue of XXL and am working on Shice's new album artwork, so keep an eye out.

The Art Juggernaut virus is spreading.

Artsucks.com (my soon to be blog/update/writing site) is almost finished. I've been so slammed with projects and the holidays recently that I haven't had a chance to nail it down for the beginning of this month as I had expected, so now I'm pushing for February or March (*author's note-hah, try November!). I spent this past weekend working only on those sites, and they are cleaning up sweet. Things will get done. Everything in my life right now just seems to be about time...finding time, making time, alotting time, and spending time with loved ones and friends.

I stayed at Jen's (- author's note -Jen is my ex-girlfriend) dad's house for Christmas and a few days after. A nice little break from work, even though I had deadlines still looming, I spent my "mini vacation" wisely.

It's always good to rest up your hands. Typing, drawing, and clicking for days and nights in a row can make the ol' hand joints ache. So while out in Long Island I tried to spend as little time possible in front of a computer.

I did get a chance to do a lot of writing, a lot of partying, and a little relaxing. I wrote a bunch of Michael Jackson jokes I will eventually post on my website when it gets up and running. None of which were too funny. Mainly because the references are so cryptic.
example:

WHAT DO MICHAEL JACKSON AND VICKY FROM the TV SHOW "SMALL WONDER" HAVE IN COMMON?

- -They are both white, made of plastic, spend a lot of time in the closet, and share their bedroom with a 10 year old boy.

I told you ...they suck.

Just another day in the life of an Art Juggernaut.

ABOUT ARTSUCKS

Artsucks.com tracks the wild, weird, and sometimes confusing life and mind of Cojo, Art Juggernaut (BIO) (PORTFOLIO), an artistic zeitgeist trudging the streets of Manhattan, gnawing on the big rotten apple for all it's worth, and getting drunk on the cider...Celebrity encounters, industry parties, the ins and outs of the art world, paparazzi, models, and deranged homeless people bathing in their own urine, no topic is safe, and the unusual is commonplace.
