MAXIM OLYMPICS 7-18-04
Again, I have been slacking in my updates and I apologize. I've been juggling my major deadlines with my reintroduction into bachelorhood, while trying to arrange another blow out birthday party (almost that time of year again), exercising at the gym, and website launch (Who knows when?). Right now is an adjustment period to say the least. I can't wait to launch this shit, it's gonna be crazy.
MAXIM OLYMPICS:::
As far as the title of this update, if you haven't seen it yet, on newsstands now is the August Issue of Maxim (here in the states) with Anna Kournikova on the cover and my OFFICE OLYMPICS feature (pg.106-111,which will coincide with the summer olympics-ain't it great how that stuff works out). And it fucken kicks ass!
My work hasn't appeared in the pages of the American Maxim in three months. If you were in England, or the Czech Republic you would have seen that I have taken over the 2 page spread HOW TO opener for the last three issues of their respective Maxim Magazines. I've also had a lot of work being printed in German Maxim, Korean Maxim, and Hong Kong Maxim. So with the newly released August issue, I'm glad to be back in the American Maxim with a big ass 6 pager (only to be outdone by the upcoming September issue next month with a whopping and unheard of 7 pages!!!)
This Office Olympics feature is so awesome. I originally did the artwork for it for British Maxim some months ago and it's been reprinted in many different languages in over 10 different editions of Maxim around the globe. Finally American Maxim is running it with all new copy, and may I add, is the only edition that actually commissioned me to do some new additional artwork to expand the feature.
Just another day in the life of an Art Juggernaut.
