COMPLEX MAGAZINE 4-13-04
Gotta give props to all the guys at COMPLEX magazine. I have had a great run in there doing full page comic strips, starting at issue 2 and running 9 issues straight (when I originally signed on to do 4-6) I was welcomed in and made a solid part of the gang through a whole staff overhaul I stuck to drawing the strips that made Celebs look foolish, and the fans smile. Complex is a solid still-new mag, and I'm glad I was one of the cats that helped get it off the ground. I'm also glad they let me go out with "LORD OF THE PIMP RINGS" a strip I actually got to write and draw. With my Maxim "A Day in the Life of " strips I write and draw them myself, but the Complex strips were all scripted for me by talented writer Richard Martin. Finally they let me write one as I was bowing out, and for this I thank you. I got such great fan mail on those strips, especially that one. If you ever need a hand, or want me to do a strip as a guest type thing, don't be afraid to call. If you guys ever need anything, let me know. And keep inviting me to your issue release parties, cause the kid loves a party whether I'm in an issue or not. Keep up the great work, and the kick ass design cause I still got a subscription, and I I'm a fan of the read.- Peace
