COJO IN SPLITSVILLE 5-29-04
Sorry I haven't sent out an update in a long while. I know everyone keeps sending me e-mail, IM'ing, and calling me pointing out this fact, and asking where I have been. Well, I have had a lot of balls in the air recently. I've been spending about 80 percent of my time working and the other 20 percent going to the gym, eating, and sleeping. All the distractions staying busy can buy, and not much partying/relaxing.
The last month has been very hard on your ol' pal Cojo. I hate to get all heavy on you, but sometimes I gotta, and it's not just an amazing workload (that I can handle no problem).
After much thought, compromise, effort, loving, and fighting, the almost 4 year relationship between Jen and myself has regretfully come to a close.
For all of you long time update readers, or colleagues and friends who may have grown attached to Jen, or just used to the mention of her in the updates, this may come as a shock, and I apologize.
Jen is truly a great person, I love her dearly, and I wish her all the luck in the world. I hope her life is happy and only good things come to her. I just know that a life with me, for her, and myself, would not be a happy one.
Sense the breakup we have talked from time to time and it has remained cordial, which is good. I want only the best for her, and hope that she finds happiness.
This weekend will be the first time in weeks that I can actually get away from the computer and the drawing board. For the past month I have been the busiest I've ever been in my life. I've pretty much forgot the definition of the word sleep...the bed is grateful.
-Thus we enter the next chapter in the life of the Art Juggernaut. I am sure the updates will get a lot weirder and more sordid in the next couple months. Who the hell knows? It will be interesting to see, and I am glad you are all on this journey with me. For ninety-five percent of you, you have never been witness to Cojo as a bachelor in the city, and it will be interesting to see what comes of it.
Just another day in the life of an Art Juggernaut.
-Cojo
