LET ME START BY ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE....THIS IS NOT SPAM--It's not meant to be anyway.
A message to the readers of the e-mail update version of the blog. If you don't want to receive the update in e-mail form anymore, just send me an e-mail back telling me so and you will be dropped. The Art Sucks Update isn't "spam." If you don't want to read it, or don't like it, it's all good, let me know and you won't need to keep deleting it, it's that simple, you will be deleted.
I'm not trying to push penis enlargement pills, I'm not trying to hawk get rich quick schemes, I'm not trying to help people loose weight in six weeks. I don't have the secret to success. I'm not going to make people's breasts bigger. I don't have great deals on Valtrex, Viagra, Zenical, Perkiset, Valium, Xanax, Pentermine, Adipex, Bontril, Meridia, Diazepam, Soma, Vicodin, HGH, Selaxin, Ultrum, Ambien, Vioxx, Phenermine, or Ephedra. (All of these things I have been offered through spam since January 1. )
This is a newsletter for fans of my work, friends, family, and colleagues. I'm not saying "send me money" and you will get this and this in return. I'm not bilking the public for cash. I don't get a commission check for how many magazines I'm in get sold. The magazines I work for and hip my fans to already sell several million a piece, and the majority of the people who receive this update already have subscriptions to one or more of them.
Funny though, AOL allows me to send this newsletter out in bulk through a service they have for businesses. The Update, to them is classified as "White Spam" which means "good" spam. Malcolm X would have a field day with that one!
