METHOD MAN & COJO 8-26-03
Before I moved and spent my celebrity week in Florida, I was approached by Walter and Jerry from CANDO ENTERTAINMENT on Method Man's behest I was asked to do some comps for the ideas Method Man had for his interactive Flash website. I don't usually do comps on projects without a contract, but c'mon, Method Man is dope.
Method Man looked at my work. While he was looking at this, I was just recovering from the move, and getting ready for my trip to Miami (When art juggernauts take vacations all kinds of shit gets fucked up) . Apparently it was between me and this other artist they had already used for other flash websites for Def Jam. After a few weeks of samples and comps they asked me if all went good, would I be able to start the following week, and I assume since I was going to be in Miami the week they wanted to start it, and told them I couldn't till I got back they had to go with the other guy.
I was disappointed, but I can't blame anyone but myself, and actually it's all good cause they like my stuff and promised to use me in the future. I had seriously booked myself to capacity that week already and I don't know how many all nighters I would have to have pulled killing myself to get that done, so everything turned out OK in the end. Sorry Meth, we will match up again in the near future for sure. Jerry & Walter, let's you me and my manager do lunch sometime, sooner then later.
