ALMOST JUNE 5-20-02
May is almost over, you can tell this because the birds are attacking again.
About a week ago I saw a cardinal hanging out by my new car.
A cardinal is a small red bird which you city folk might recognize from the logo for the major league baseball team, and they are very pretty. I don't know how large a cardinal's intestine is, but upon walking to my car a few days later I noticed that the face of my usually happy plastic hula girl in the back windshield had become obscured by a heaping mound of bird mess splattered across the glass.
A week later, even though the evidence has been washed away by the rain...... I can still picture her in the rear view as she shimmied her torso back and forth to the beat of the road, with her face playing peek-a-boo behind the caked on cardinal crap. Damn you cardinal! Damn you all to hell!!!!
Just another day in the life of an Art Juggernaut.
